We believe the phone-first format can be exploited across a broad range of genres – be it zombie, sci-fi, politics or romance.
That’s why we’re launching Scriptic, our story game platform on mobile, where all our interactive shows – including Dead Man’s Phone – will live.
Scriptic is a platform for phone-first narrative games. We are building mature and captivating narrative experiences that attract both games and non-gamers.
The true crime world of Dead Man’s Phone is our entry point. However, we have already begun development on new interactive shows in different genres.

Phone-first format delivers on the intersection of film, tv & games like no other experience, for three key reasons:
Easy to pick up and intuitive for all demographics
If you know how to use a smartphone, you intuitively understand our interactive story format. Our story games simply reflect the interactive world of our smartphones. This means our content is accessible across all demographics and the interactivity is natural to users.
Data point: 80% of our players consider themselves crime fiction lovers not mobile gamers
Low production cost with evergreen and highly scalable content
Our interactive format reflects the make-up of a smartphone – approximately 80% text and 20% other media content (handheld photos, videos, audio). The media content must be low-production quality to feel authentic and immersive. This is the most scalable format of interactive storytelling ever conceived – and of course all our content is evergreen.
Data point: $25K for all media in our 6-hour interactive season vs $5m for low-budget TV drama series
