What we've done so far: built sticky interactive content format
Phase 1 is elusive and near impossible – figuring out how to make good content. Our studio has developed a format for interactive content that is sticky, repeatable and scalable. The reception has been phenomenal. Milestones include:
- Raise pre-seed in June 2020 and built architecture of interactive platform
- Successfully monetised season 1 at $25 per season in beta
- Achieved major industry recognition (BAFTA nomination, WIRED feature)
- Achieved 350K installs with no user acquistion costs and 4.8* iOS rating
- Release Dead Man's Phone globally on iOS and Android
- Built team of 11 – diverse, driven, able to execute – experts in film, tv & games
- Put season 2-3-4-5 of Dead Man's Phone in production (45 hours content)
- Content that captures the zeitgeist – season 1 confronts a police-racism incident
What we're doing now
Getting to series A: continuous content & growth tooling
Phase 2 is more text-book and technical – now that we built a sticky interactive content format, it's time to scale it out. Our focus towards Series A will be three-tiered platform approach – all focusing on continuous content & viral growth.
